What Mercedes-Benz Did With Their R&D Center: It Looks Like a Co-Working Space, But Is It?

Mercedes-Benz North American R&D Center in Sunnyvale, California, has created a space that looks very much like a co-working space; although clearly it is not. Yet build-outs such as this one, gives more credence to the notion that traditional corporations are seriously starting to dial in to the open floor plan concept and collaborative vibe that started with alternative officing. Having said that, the space is vibrant, with an abundance of light and plenty of areas for its talented team to collaborate and plan.
