Metro Offices Recognized as one of the Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses

Founder & CEO Kathlene Buchanan, a leader in the shared workspace category, continues to expand in the area

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (October 1, 2015) – For the third year in a row, Metro Offices has been named among the Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses in the Washington, D.C. area by the Washington Business Journal. The publication celebrates the efforts and accomplishments of women in business who have mastered their industries and have made contributions to the local economy.  

Buchanan founded Metro Offices, the largest female-owned shared workspace provider in the U.S., more than 26 years ago. With 10 locations across D.C., Maryland and Virginia, Buchanan along with her award-winning team, have provided the workspace, technology, communications and community for more than 30,000 companies across the public and private sectors.

Her company continues to invest in the area and recently opened its most cutting-edge center to date, located at premier Greensboro Station Place in Tysons Corner. FlexDesks, Micro Offices, Wine Bar Meeting Spaces, Game Rooms complete with putting Greens, Vintage Ms. Pac Man arcade games, Flat Screen televisions and Blackboard Walls create new ways to its Members to communicate.
