The second half of twenty-fifteen has been exciting and successful for Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN) as they’ve expanded their presence to new markets and regions following key appointments earlier this year.
Frank Cottle, Chairman and CEO of ABCN, started 2015 with a vision and big plans for the future of ABCN.
In July of this year, we reported that ABCN appointed Ramon ten Tije, founder of Flexado, as its Executive Director for Europe. Ten Tije now has the added benefit of working more closely with Alliance veteran Alliance veteran Catalina Basaguren since she relocated to Paris earlier this year.
Shortly after ten Tije’s appointment and with assurance that Europe was in great hands, ABCN turned its sight towards Australia with plans to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
In order to do this, ABCN appointed Steve Golding, founder and CEO of Meeting Hub and thought-leader of the industry in Australia, as its Executive Director for ASEA (Australia and Southeast Asia).
Since then, the Alliance Network has grown significantly and has been able to establish a presence in new markets around the world. This growth has also led to current members taking more advantage of and utilizing the Alliance Access, which allows clients to use office space in any given ABCN member location, as Catalina Basaguren tells OT.
“Members are much more participant than they were before; we are seeing many more members referring members to other locations, which is one of the Network’s greatest strengths. We want our members to be able to work with each other as closely as possible.”
Since July this year, ABCN has added several new members that operate in different European cities including Sofia, Istanbul, Bremen, Paris, Lisbon, London, and Dublin.
New members of the Alliance Network in this region since starting July:
Sterling Serviced Office Group: Business Center operator that offers serviced offices, virtual offices, meeting rooms, business services, and video conference services in Turkey and Bulgaria.
Plaza Cubes: Offers flexible and full-time offices, virtual offices, meeting rooms, and coworking in Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey.
Ecos Office Center: Operates in Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland and offers serviced offices, conference rooms, flexible offices, receptionist services, virtual offices, and administrative staff.
BuroNetwork: Operator that offers serviced offices, live receptionist services, and address services in London, Paris, and Dublin.
Golden Hub: Lisbon, Portugal – Ramon says “It’s a great new center. I spoke with Miguel on the opening day of his center and he already had a number of new customers already. So GoldenHub is indeed a golden opportunity!”
Catalina comments, “We are growing in size. We have added a few centers in key cities where we didn’t have any before and we have big plans for new locations coming up shortly.”
“Our staff has grown. We have a much bigger team to handle all of the new leads and to service our members correctly. We’ve also acquired new knowledge; considering each country has its own rules and regulations we are constantly working to have all the information needed, so that we can better advise our clients.”
As for ASEA, Golding has focused his efforts on first expanding ABCN’s presence in all of Australia before moving to Southeast Asia.
Golding mentions how, “We now have a solid and growing footprint in the key markets within Australia centred around Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.”
