We were recently advised that the Global Workspace Association (GWA) has a new Executive Director.
Jamie Russo, President of League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces and Chief of Work and Wellness at Enerspace Coworking, has been appointed the role of GWA Executive Director, taking over the position previously held by Richard Meyers.
Jamie operates coworking spaces in Chicago and Palo Alto and she recently launched a podcast called “Everything Coworking”, where she interviews experts on coworking, provides insights about trends, and shares how-tos of the industry.
She’s an expert and leader of the industry, which has led her to be the President of the League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces and, now, GWA’s Executive Director.
This is not the first time that Jamie has worked with GWA. She was a speaker at their 29th Annual GWA Education Conference this year, which took place October 21-24th in Denver Colorado.
OT reached out to congratulate Jamie, who said: “I am very excited to take on the role and to help shape the future of the GWA.”
Nathan Jansch, Secretary for the Board of Directors of GWA, commented:
“We’re really excited to have Jamie come on board as Executive Director. She brings about 5 years of experience on owning and operating spaces and also has a great track record of working with Fortune 500 companies.”
We’re looking forward to getting to know Jamie and learn more about her plans for GWA. Our industry keeps on growing and changing, and she’s demonstrated her leadership and expertise through her management of coworking spaces as well as her podcast.
