In The Loop: The We Company, IWG’s Spaces, And Coworking in India Powers On

India’s coworking market continues to growth and strengthen; this week Hyderabad-based iKeva raised funds to open 15 new coworking locations

Bisnow reported that We Company (WeWork) announced the debut of Made by We, a hybrid model that will combine retail and coworking. The work area will allow individuals to to book a desk on demand without the need of a WeWork membership. The retail part will sell products made by WeWork partners and members; it’ll also have an upscale coffee shop in site.

Coworking in India Continues to Garner Strength
Hyderabad-based coworking operator, iKeva has raised funds from Meenakshi Group. The funds will be used to power the brand’s expansion plans across major metros in India. According to reports, iKeva plans to set up at least 15 new coworking centers over the course of the next 12 months.

IWG’s Spaces to Open Nine Locations in Canada
International Workplace Group’s coworking arm (which IWG is looking to sell) has announced that it’ll open nine locations in Canada this year. According to reports, Spaces will open over 375,000 square feet of coworking space across Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Victoria, and Kelowna.
