Knotel to Move to Former New York Times Building
Knotel is setting up shop in the former New York Times building, the Real Deal reported earlier this week. Though Knotel planned to sublease the space to other businesses when it signed the lease in December, that’s no longer the case. Knotel will move its headquarters to the building, taking the entire 51,000 square foot space for itself.

The Controversy Surrounding The Wing
A critic recently said that The Wing, a female-focused coworking operator, “focuses on the advancement of a certain type of woman.” A recent Vox article argues that “The Wing has put its benefits out of reach of the very women who could use them most, especially women of color and low-income women;” while another critic argues that The Wing is taking advantage of the “language and iconography of feminism to make money.”

Servcorp Signs 36K SF Lease in Madison Avenue
The Commercial Observer reported earlier this week that Australian-based flexible workspace provider Servcorp “has penned an agreement to operate coworking, serviced office and virtual office space on two floors at Hartz Group’s 667 Madison Avenue.”
