This week, the global coworking community would’ve come together in Seattle. Since that couldn’t happen, GCUC took the event online, bringing together over 150 attendees.

This week, the global coworking community should have been convening in Seattle for GCUC USA 2020. Since that couldn’t happen, the producers of the event decided to take it online for the first time. Over 150 attendees switched over to Zoom to participate, where they had the opportunity to listen to experts like Steve King, Laura Shook Guzman, Jerome Chang, and Cynthia Seymour. Jamie Hodari on the Return to Work

In a recent interview with Commercial Observer, Jamie Hodari, CEO and co-Founder of Industrious, shared how Industrious is engaging with their members while practicing physical distancing, how the company is preparing for the return to work, and the lasting ways in which the pandemic will change the way we work. Hodari believes that we are “gonna see the shift to workplaces-as-a-service probably accelerate coming out of this crisis relative to what would have been the trajectory before.”

New Coworking Brand to Launch in India Post-COVID-19

The Economic India Times reported this week that “real estate consultant Investors Clinic and coworking space provider Kocreate have agreed to invest Rs 10 crore in an equal joint venture for creating new shared workplaces.” According to the report, the companies are hoping to benefit from an expected rise in demand for coworking spaces following the COVID-19 pandemic. The joint-venture plans to add 5,000 seats within a year in the Delhi-NCR area, followed by a national expansion.
