How AR Can Impact The Future Of Work

Augmented reality (AR) may have seemed like a far-fetched concept a few years ago, but the reality is that this technology has emerged as a useful tool that could change the way we work.

Research indicates that companies all over the world will readily adopt remote and flexible work arrangements long after the pandemic has ended.

The reasoning behind this is the fact that employers have discovered that workers are in fact more productive when working at home, but only when equipped with the right technology.

So where does AR fit in this new way of working? Although instant messaging and video conferencing have increased in usage amongst the workforce, they lack the tone and body language needed to effectively communicate with colleagues. That is why AR will be necessary to keep team members engaged as it has the ability to create a more realistic meeting.
