The Executive Centre Expands Global Footprint

The Executive Centre announced this week that it has opened two new flexible workspace locations in China, one in Shanghai and one in Hangzhou. In addition to the new locations, The Executive Centre has also expanded its GEM Tower Center in Shenzhen. With the two new additions, plus the expansion of the existing centre, The Executive Centre is adding almost 55,000 square feet to its existing flexible workspace portfolio. 

Coworking Space in New Orleans to Close 

Canal Street Beat reported this week that “Launch Pad, the first ever coworking space in New Orleans, announced yesterday that it would be closing its Big Easy location.” The space was first opened in 2009 and was relocated in 2017. According to the report, the building’s landlord will take over operations of the coworking space. The coworking space operator also  announced that it will be closing its Memphis location as well; however it has “set sights on other markets for new coworking spaces in opportunity zones.”

Hana to Expand Its Footprint in London

Hana, CBRE’s coworking arm, “has expanded its presence in London with the official opening of two locations in London at 70 St Mary Axe and 245 Hammersmith,” FMJ reported this week. According to reports, Hana partnered with Nuveen Real Estate, LGiM Real Assets, and Mitsubishi Estate to open the new locations. The two new locations will add 74,000 square feet to Hana’s existing coworking portfolio.
