According to new research from Robin, foot traffic across American workplaces grew by 19%, marking the most peopleĀ in the office since the start of the pandemic.

Workplace Foot Traffic Saw A Sharp Spike In October

New research from Robin shows thatĀ foot traffic in American workplacesĀ saw a spike in October and office occupancy levels have grown to 25%.Ā Ā Ā 

The company’s Return to Office report for the month of October revealed that foot traffic grew by 19% last month, marking the most people in the office since the beginning of the pandemic.Ā Ā

Workspace Geek - Coworking Software Simplified

Boston and New York City companies are bringing people back into the office at the fastest pace with a 34% and 22% increase respectively. Conference rooms also saw a 6% increase in bookings.Ā Ā 

However, Robin expects there to be a dip in foot traffic during November and December due to the holiday season.Ā

Return-to-office rates varied across industries. For instance,Ā media and telecom companies experiencedĀ theĀ number ofĀ employees in the office more than double in October, while real estate companies saw a 15% dip in their average returns.Ā Ā 

At the same time, the report showed that workers in EuropeĀ sawĀ workersĀ come intoĀ the office atĀ an average ofĀ 5.5 days each month, which is higher than the global average.
