SINGAPORE, 2 June 2026 โ Arcc Spaces, a pioneer in hospitality-led real estate, today announced the appointment of Singapore-based design firm, The Afternaut Group for their newest shared workspace property at the Bank of Singapore Centre on 63 Market Street, set to open in July 2026.
Occupying three levels totalling approximately 25,782 square feet in the heart of the CBD, the space will accommodate more than 300 members and represents Arcc Spacesโ most design-forward project to date; a premium environment built around biophilic immersion, material warmth, and a hospitality-calibrated experience for the era of flexible work.
Headquartered in Singapore, Arcc Spaces operates flexible workspaces across key Asia gateway cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The Bank of Singapore Centre marks its most significant Singapore opening since Arcc Spaces at One Marina Boulevard.
Unlike traditional workspaces, no two Arcc Spaces locations are designed the same way. Where One Marina Boulevard was built for adaptability across diverse working styles, the Bank of Singapore Centre takes a different position centred on biophilia and the need for relief from screen-heavy, notification-dense workdays. The Afternaut Group’s response centres on curated spatial possibilities and the celebration of craftsmanship and materiality. This includes greenery both indoors and outdoors, a collection of unique experiences to cater to different working modes, and nature-inspired features that create a calming connection to nature within the concrete city.
Operational flexibility is embedded from the outset. Phone booths convert to multi-use spaces, adjacent suites can be amalgamated for larger teams, and conference spaces are designed to transition into communal areas outside of business hours. These features keep the space commercially responsive without requiring disruptive fit-out changes.
“Our work with The Afternaut Group has always been a genuine co-authorship and each project has evolved alongside how work itself has changed,โ said Justin Chen, CEO of Arcc Spaces. โIn an age defined by AI and digital saturation, and coming out of years of remote work, people are seeking something different from their offices: real connection, presence, and a reason to commute. The Bank of Singapore Centre is designed precisely around that need.โ
“Each project with Arcc Spaces has pushed us to find a different expression of how people connect to a workspace, from the soul and creativity of a shophouse, to the precision of a five-star hotel. At the Bank of Singapore Centre, we are designing inward,โ said Gwen Tan, Design Principal of The Afternaut Group. โSpaces that slow you down, draw you into the materiality, and make the experience in an office well elevated. This is the type of exploration we find most meaningful, and the rendition of it highly anticipated.โ
Arcc Spaces at the Bank of Singapore represents a new threshold for what a workspace in Asia can be. An office is not merely a place to work, but a designed environment with the conviction and craft of architecture that endures. For Arcc Spaces and The Afternaut Group, it is the fullest expression of a shared belief that the quality of space shapes the quality of thought.
