workplace horrors

In lieu of Halloween, we’re sharing 5 of the worst workplace horrors we’ve all had to deal with at some point in our working lives.

1. Sloppy or no Internet

Deel - Upgrade your global team management

We’re not sure if it’s worse to have no internet or for it to be super slow, but in either case it needs to be fixed ASAP.

2. Loud people on the phone

Really, no one wants to hear you fight with a client, significant other, or anyone else for that matter. Also, please don’t spoil the movie, new episode, or whatever. Kindly step outside or be quiet (to put it nicely).

3. Food Getting Stolen

Really, is this high school? Bring your own food people or ask if we’re willing to share. Stealing food is just plain rude and disrespectful…there’s no excuse for doing it.

4. No Coffee

Did you not read this? Running out of coffee is just as bad as having no internet. Like, really. It’s necessary.

5. When people come in very sick/ill

It’s not that we aren’t glad to see you, it’s just that we don’t want to get sick too. Plus, all those tissues stacked up on the desk…I’d rather not. You need to recover, stay home, drink plenty of water, and don’t spread the germs. We say this lovingly of course.
