News 24 reported late yesterday that Renwick Haddow, the alleged mastermind behind Bar Work’s alleged fraud scheme, was arrested by Moroccan police.
The 49-year-old Briton, wanted on fraud charges by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), was detained in Tangiers following a notice issued by the Interpol. According to News 24, “he appeared before the public prosecutor in Tangiers on Wednesday before being transferred to prison in Sale, near the capital Rabat.”
The article further informs that Haddow’s extradition would be considered by the Court of Cassation.
Haddow’s capture could very well mean it’s officially game over for Bar Works and the Bitcoin Store.
