October 3, 2018 – Victory Offices has appointed Rose Schiavello as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective from October 15, in a move that signals further aggressive expansion from the Melbourne-based flexible office solutions provider.
In a highly decorated 20-year career in corporate finance and strategy, Ms Schiavello’s most recent role was leading Myer’s Entertainment Division, responsible for strategy implementation and delivery.
Ms Schiavello began her career at Deloitte, in Audit Assurance and Advisory roles, before moving into Corporate Finance, playing leading roles in the public listings of several well-known Australian brands.
A move into Private Equity provided further exposure to a broad range of industries and business, before Ms Schiavello joined Myer to lead its Mergers and Acquisitions and strategy team.
Upon being given the opportunity to run a merchandise division herself, Ms Schiavello was responsible for driving one of the best performance improvements across the total Myer merchandise portfolio.
Such a vast array of experience and a healthy dose of ambition made Ms Schiavello a perfect fit for Victory Offices, according to CEO Dan Baxter.
“We’re delighted to have Rose join the team, and we think she’ll make a critical contribution as we continue our rapid growth trajectory,” Baxter said.

Ms Schiavello said she was drawn to working with an organization that had a bold vision within a rapidly changing market.
“I’ve seen first-hand that the way people work these days is fundamentally different to what it has been in the past and businesses need to be so fluid and flexible these days to manage that and still drive success,” Ms Schiavello said.
“So, I think the scope for flexible offices is huge, and Dan and his team have real, discernible ambition to lead the market with a really distinct offering and point of difference.
