Property and development companies Landsec and British Land have both revealed that flexible office space will be a big portion of their office portfolios going forward. In addition, Property Week’s recent report revealed that two-thirds of corporations will shift towards flexible offices in the next three years.

The demand for more collaborative spaces is high, but that does not mean that current office owners will hurt from this change. Moving towards a coworking environment can be as simple as smarter layouts and better technology.

Although coworking emphasizes collaborating with people outside of your company, it is still vital to communicate with the different sectors of your own workplace. With this, the same motivational and collaborative feel can be achieved within traditional offices.
