Goldman Sachs-backed coworking firm Atlaspace has announced that Wilma Wu will be the head of its Hong Kong operations. The new leadership comes after the operator opened its first location in Hong Kong.
Wu will lead Atlaspace’s “overall strategic planning, business development, centre operations and product expansion in the city.”
Before taking on her role at Atlaspace, Wu was the general manager of luxury flexible office provider Servcorp Hong Kong Limited for 16 years.
“Wilma is well known in the industry and respected as a trusted advisor to customers. She has proven to be a strong people manager and business manager, striving to empower companies to transform,” said Chen Sze Long, CEO of Atlas.
Atlaspace was founded in June 2017 by Chen Sze Long and now occupies about two million square feet of space.
The company has spaces across 20 locations in Hong Kong and China where it offers coworking spaces, serviced offices and other services under Atlas Workplace, Atlas Living and Atlas Community brands.
An investment round from Guangdong-based developers Star River Group and Times China Group in October valued the company at $871 million.
