B:HIVE in Auckland is emerging as one of the biggest players in the coworking sector, offering small businesses more opportunity to network with one another and better facilities to scale.
“The concept of a coworking space is that it merges life and work to create sustainable business practice,” said Lloyd Budd, Director for Bayleys Commercial in Auckland and an industry-leading expert on coworking. “There is no doubt that there is a positive benefit to being part of a coworking space for people’s mental wellbeing, the environment, and for small businesses to thrive and grow.
Many coworking spaces focus on providing small businesses and entrepreneurs amenities and services that are normally reserved for large corporations.
Budd said that he expects to see more small businesses sign up for coworking spaces in order to collaborate and be apart of a larger community.
On top of offering full offices and desk spaces, B:HIVE has community managers who work to meet each members’ networking and well-being needs, hosting events such as pat-a-puppy day and Mindful Movement classes.
