Office supplies company, Staples, announced that it would launch its coworking concept at three Massachusetts retail stores. The news comes shortly after the company ended its partnership with coworking firm, Workbar.
Staples Studio will open in Staples stores in Brighton, Danvers, and Norwood and it will offer a mix of private and shared workspaces. Additionally, the space will offer podcasting studios, meeting rooms, unlimited printing, coffee, and snacks to all of its members.
In order to attract potential clients, Staples Studio is giving three months for free if people sign up for three months before July 31st. Former Workbar locations within Staples will be rebranded to Staples Studios and members of those locations will be able to continue using the space.
Staples will also roll out its coworking offering across its Greater Boston stores.
