Boston-based coworking space operator, Workbar, has announced that it will expand its footprint with a new location in the West Coast. The company’s 10th coworking location, in San Francisco, will be the first to open outside of the Greater Boston area. Workbar partnered with fabbit, a Japanese coworking company with 23 locations throughout Japan, to open this 9,000 square foot location. 

Speaking about the expansion to San Francisco’s Financial District, Sara Travers, Workbar CEO, stated that:

“We have spent 10 years perfecting our coworking model, and we are excited to partner with fabbit to bring a productive, innovative workspace to a city that has so many of the same qualities that we love about Boston,” said Workbar CEO Sarah Travers in a statement. “Our members are excited to welcome a new city into our community and to have such a breathtaking space to work from when they are in San Francisco.”
