A new £255 million office deal was signed this week in Central London, giving the market a big boost.
Henderson Park, a property investor, revealed it exchanged contracts for the sale of Athene Place to a consortium led by Hong Kong-based real estate firm Wing Tai Properties Limited.
The 147,000 square foot office space was acquired by Henderson Park after Deloitte vacated the building in 2018. The landlord then agreed to pre-let space to the accountancy firm, which has since become part of Deloitte’s London campus.
Nick Weber, founding partner of Henderson Park, said that this deal indicates that London offices are still in high-demand and will continue to play a role in the future of work.
