NYC Restaurants Turns to Coworking to Increase Profits

CNBC reported this week that NYC restaurant, Kindred, has started renting out its tables during the day to remote workers in the hopes of increasing business profits. Each table costs $25 per person and includes free coffee, WiFi, and bathroom access. Remote workers can reserve tables from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kindred is hoping that by renting out tables to remote workers they will make some passive income, as well as get people through the door.
