Commercial real estate landlord CP Group is rolling out its own flexible office brand called worCPlaces.
CP will develop worCPlace locations outside of Atlanta in Central Perimeter at the Lakeside office campus, as well as the Ravinia office towers. Additionally, the landlord will open other locations in Boca Raton and Miami, Florida.
CP Group will provide monthly flexible contracts that give users access to various types of spaces, including plug-and-play suites, shared workspaces and private offices.
This effort aims to accommodate the growing demand for flexibility within the workforce. Although numerous other operators exist today, office owners have been trying to incorporate and manage their own flexible space within their buildings.
By managing their own flexible office space, landlord’s are able to directly address demand from their tenants without relying on third-party operators. Not only can landlords bring in more revenue from this offering, but it also can help boost their brand.
“Why have it branded something different? Why not have it co-branded with the landlord’s branding?” said Austin Dubois, assistant director of Savills’ Workthere Americas flex office consulting arm. “If it were my business, I would be targeting larger companies. From a landlord perspective, you already have them in your building.”
