Executives are concerned with that current remote working models are “actually magnifying negative economic and social consequences for cities.”
“The fusion between LWP and coworking is a natural response to the rising demand for flexible workspaces from remote workers, freelancers, startups or smaller businesses,” wrote Laura Pop Badiu.
In addition to expanding to meet demand, landlords also want to diversify, with half of respondents saying around 16% to 25% of their portfolios will be flexible by 2025.
