Avanta Serviced Office Group, the leading workspace provider for SMEs and growing businesses, has announced the appointment of a new charity partner, Cancer Research UK. The workspace provider aims to raise in excess of £20,000 for the charity through a variety of fundraising activities.
Cancer Research UK, which is the world’s largest independent cancer research charity, was the overriding favourite following a vote among the company’s 250 staff. In recent years, Avanta, through its staff and clients has raised over £110,000 for charities.
Commenting on the announcement, Alan Pepper, Chief Executive of Avanta Serviced Office Group, said: “Raising money for great causes is an important responsibility for any business, and we are proud to announce this partnership with Cancer Research UK. Having sought the views of staff and selecting the most popular choice, I am sure this is a cause the whole company will be able to get behind.”
