National flexible business space provider, Bizspace, is sponsoring its second North West regional business award event of the year.

The company will back the Micro Business of the Year category in the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Greater Manchester and North Cheshire Business Awards 2016.  In March, Bizspace sponsored the drinks reception for Lancashire Business View’s Red Rose Awards 2016 – an event it has supported for four consecutive years.

The FSB awards celebrate the outstanding work of businesses from a variety of sectors, as well as inspirational individuals, from throughout the region.

Emma Long, BizspaceBizspace sales and marketing director, Emma Long, will be on the judging panel.  She explained that the sponsorship “fits in perfectly with Bizspace’s commitment to support, inspire and nurture start-ups and micro businesses.”

She said: “We work day in, day out, with businesses of all sizes, but predominantly our focus is on supporting start-ups, micro businesses and small companies who may be moving into their first professional workspace.

“We understand the unique needs of this type of business and we’ve developed an eye for what makes a business idea a successful one.  I’m very proud to be a judge in the Micro Business of the Year category and am looking forward to seeing entries from some of the region’s leading companies with 10 employees or fewer.

“Many of our customers are FSB members and I’d encourage anyone to enter and wow us with your business’ story.”

Emma will be part of a panel of awards judges, and will present the winner of the Micro Business of the Year category with their award at a ceremony on 9 November at the Hilton in Manchester.  More than 300 entrepreneurs and small business owners from the region will attend the event.

Bizspace has numerous business centres throughout the Greater Manchester and North Cheshire area, providing a range of workspaces and products tailored to start-ups and micro businesses.  These include small units, offices, co-working space, meeting rooms for hire, mailboxes and virtual offices.  There is also plenty of opportunity for businesses to grow and expand with Bizspace’s flexible licence agreements and variety of workspace on offer.
