Citibase Newcastle-under-Lyme More Than Doubles in Size in a Huge Vote of Confidence for the Local Business Community

In a great boost to the Staffordshire economy, a business centre in the heart of Newcastle-under-Lyme has more than doubled in size just over four months after it first opened. To celebrate the unveiling of the additional space, the centre is offering a very special no-obligation free meeting room offer.

Citibase, the UK’s largest independent operator of fully-serviced business centres, opened its centre in Copthall House, King Street in February and rapidly filled up with businesses ranging from a website agency, travel management and payroll suppliers, to recruitment agencies and even a clinical psychologist amongst others.

Due to the phenomenal demand, additional space including an extra floor has now been fully refurbished as a state of the art and cost effective base for entrepreneurs, start-ups and businesses both small and large. Space is available to move in from under £4 per desk per day. There is also a special no-obligation two hour free meeting room hire offer so any local businesses can try out their great meeting room spaces for free.

Citibase Newcastle-under-Lyme, located in one of the town’s most prominent business locations, is in a bright, recently refurbished landmark building and offers flexible contract terms for a range of high quality, fully furnished office spaces. Services include reception and administrative services, superfast internet and telecoms packages, meeting rooms, virtual offices, personalised call answering and car parking.*

Centre Manager Greg Rowley said: “We’re delighted that we’ve quickly established ourselves as a vibrant part of the Newcastle-under-Lyme business community. Our success in providing what the local economy needs – cost effective and flexible serviced office space – has enabled us to more than double in size to meet the demand. And by offering a welcoming and hassle-free home to even more entrepreneurs and businesses bringing in several hundred workers to the area, it will also greatly benefit other established businesses in the locality and the wider Staffordshire economy.”

Many offices in the expanded space were pre-let before opening such is the demand. A large suite of offices on the new floor has been taken by Adecco, the world’s leading provider of HR solutions.

Debbie Smith, Head of Operations for Adecco said: “We had a tight timescale for our office move as we had secured a new client win, which in turn required us to locate to larger premises. Greg and his team accommodated this request and moved us in to a fully fitted out office suite within the 4-6 week timescale we set. The specification of the office is impressive, and is now showcased as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for Adecco, of which both internal and external clients visit. Greg and his team are professional and no request is too small for them to action. We are very pleased to be accommodated in this Citibase location.”
