Chadwick Group Opens New Business Centre in Southampton

The Chadwick Group continues it’s strategy of either acquiring freehold office investments or partnering with others to provide business centres within 3rd party buildings.
After launching successful partnerships with Topland Group in Cardiff and Bristol the Chadwick Group has completed a new partnership with Ashville which will see the launch of a new business centre, in January 2017, at the newly refurbished 50,000 sq ft White Building, Cumberland Place, in Southampton.
Richard Douglas, Managing Director of Chadwick Group comments:  “The business centre model is a useful tool for attracting SME’s into multi-let buildings where they can take root, grow and in the future progress to a long-term lease commitment elsewhere in the building”.
“It’s not just the SME market we’re addressing though, as invariably existing tenants within our buildings make use of our meeting rooms, business lounges and small office suites for their over-spill requirements, which means they can ‘flex’ in the building in a way that was difficult up to now”.
Incorporating business centres into larger office buildings is nothing new – however the partnership structure used by the Chadwick Group is very different to others operating in the same sector. Their business centre brand sits in the background as they believe the cache of the business centre should enhance the brand of the building, as this enhances the asset value.
As to what to expect at Chadwick Group’s new business centre in Southampton it’s worth noting that Ashville Group won both the South Coast Workplace Environment and Development of the Year Awards 2016, so it will come as no surprise that not only does the building look good from the outside, but offers exceptional standards inside.
The reception area provides an array of visitor seating, hot desking with Wi-Fi facilities, a business lounge, meeting suites, and a range of small suites able to cater for requirement of between 2-60 people.
As a special opening offer, any enquires that come through SO Advice for the centre will enjoy a -25% discount from the list price for the first 3 months, subject to a minimum 6 month contract.
