Orega are delighted to announce they won the Best British Newcomer to Belgium Award on 24 November at the Golden Bridge Awards. Organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, the award recognises Orega’s commitment to trade and export within Europe.
The independent serviced office provider launched their brand of serviced offices in Brussels in February 2015 within Sablon Tower and later in the year in Leopold, the EU District. Brussels is where the concept of Serviced Offices was born so it made sense that this would be the first international venture for Orega.
After a successful first year in the Brussels market, where they overcame many challenges that occur when expanding internationally, Orega are thrilled that all of their commitment has been recognised. Orega have bridged the gap between trade in Brussels and the UK, allowing for companies that work in their UK business centres to expand their reach and dip their toes in international markets more easily. They have also given a platform for companies in Brussels to work in two prime locations, the EU District and Sablon, while giving them access to office space and business solution services in 12 locations in the UK.
The Jury of the Golden Bridge Awards said: “[They were] impressed with Orega’s persistence and long term commitment to internationalising their business. Orega continues to innovate, developing their existing co-working space in Belgium and using it as a platform for engaging with start-up businesses.”
