Former Avanta Serviced Office Group Plc Chief Executive, Alan Pepper appointed new CFO at flexible workspace technology market leader, essensys
London, United Kingdom, Friday, 20 October 2017– essensys is excited to announce the appointment of Alan Pepper as Group Chief Financial Officer. Alan is a proven industry leader with more than a decade’s executive experience in the flexible workspace sector.
Alan was part of the original start-up team at Avanta and was instrumental in its rapid growth and subsequent management buy-out. As chief executive Alan continued to lead the business as a public company following its acquisition by the Aim listed Serviced Office Group Plc. The business was finally acquired by Regus (now IWG Plc) where he spent a year as Chief Commercial Officer of the UK business.
Alan joins the Board of essensys with immediate effect and will take responsibility for the direction and management of the Group’s financial affairs as well as bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience of the flexible workspace industry, general management and capital markets to the essensys executive team.
Prior to entering the flexible workspace industry Alan spent time in private equity having had an initial professional career in the corporate finance teams of two major professional accountancy firms. Alan Pepper joins at a significant point in the growth of essensys.
