Israel’s coworking market is booming with two new firms announcing plans to open office spaces outside of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. In addition to these two locations, coworking management firm Urban Place is opening up a third branch in Israel and a second near the central bus station in Jerusalem.
The Urban Place offices will be situated in a historic building and cover 2,000 square meters that includes a gym, games room, beauty center, synagogue, meeting spaces, and an auditorium.
The new Regus complex, its 20th in Israel, is located in Haifa and will be 2,000 square meters, offer 65 private offices, 187 collaborative workspaces, and more.
In 2014, there was about 16,000 total square meters of office space in Israel. Just two years later, that number went up to 43,000 and today has reached 60,000. In May of 2018, the total number of coworking spaces in Israel was at 197 locations.
