Five Indian startups have raised half a billion dollars through angel, seed, and venture investors across various business sectors.
Coworking firm 91springboard raised $10.2 million in a funding round from Singapore-based marketing technology company Freakout and Shinsei Bank of Japan. Now, the overall capital for the coworking startup is $33 million according to cofounder Varun Chawla. The company has set a goal of 25,000 desks by the end of the financial year, and 150,000 desks by March of 2020.
“As we are now a profitable company, all this investment will be deployed for growth, and setting up new spaces across India,” Chawla said. “We are also looking to add two more cities.”
