Coworking operator Spaces has taken over 7,000 square meters of space across two buildings in Lendlease’s Melbourne Quarter precinct, marking the company’s fourth coworking location in Victoria.
The flexible office firm will occupy one floor at One Melbourne Quarter and move in sometime in May. It will also offer 700 workstations across 4,000 square meters at Two Melbourne Quarter,
which is expected to be completed by mid-2020
Damien Sheehan, head of IWG in Australia and New Zealand, said the area is in the middle of a “workspace revolution.”
A CBRE report found that Australia’s coworking space market occupies about 193,200 square meters across six major cities.
