Justin Raymond, a serial entrepreneur, is the founder of Toronto’s Flexday, which turns restaurants around the city into coworking spaces during the day.
The Flexday project derived from Raymond’s interest in work commutes and how it impacts people’s lives.
“We believe neighbourhood workspaces, working closer to home, having highly functional spaces around the corner, is the solution to the commute,” said Raymond.
Each space provides users WiFi, coffee or tea, and is $49 per month for a spot at one of the 14 Flexday locations.
By offering these spaces that could potentially cut commute times, Raymond said that he hopes to expand to 50 locations by the end of the year.
