Office Freedom is pleased to announce that industry veteran Richard Sexton has joined the firm as President. In this capacity he will lead the growth of the firm in The Americas working alongside Senior Vice President, Daniel Soffer in the New York Office.
Prior to joining Office Freedom, Sexton represented Knight Frank for 15 years in America. Originally in partnership with Grubb & Ellis he was responsible for brokering the relationship with Newmark & Co and led a team handling international cross border transactions between Newmark Knight Frank and Knight Frank.

Sexton’s background also includes roles with CBRE in London (1992-1998) and Knight Frank in Warsaw, Poland (1998-2000), as Head of Agency. Sexton is a dual UK/US citizen with previous roles as past President of St George’s Society of NY, and more recently CEO, Mountbatten Program, Sexton has become a key connector in the NY Anglo-American community.
Sexton was awarded an MBE by the Queen in the 2013 New Year’s Honours List for services to British & Commonwealth charities in New York.
