According to CBRE, Central London saw about 3.7 million square feet of office space up for offer in the first three months of 2019, a 20% increase on the same quarter from 2018.
Despite this, take-up in the hotspot fell by 34% after a monumental final quarter of last year.
“Quarter one was slightly below average in terms of take-up, however, this is not uncommon at the beginning of any given year,” said Chris Vydra, executive director of London Leasing at CBRE.
