RFR Realty has plans to acquire a Meatpacking District office for $129.5 million in Manhattan and will lease the entire office component to coworking network Soho Works. The ground floor will host retail tenants.
Soho Works is operated by members-only club and hotel brand Soho House, which has another location in the Meatpacking District.
The coworking network will take up about 53,000 square feet as this neighborhood continues to blossom into a trendy, hip location for businesses.
This follows news that RFR has entered a deal to ground-lease the Chrysler Building for $150 million.
