Coworking operator Industrious has acquired tech-related office space provider TechSpace that currently has locations in Orange County, San Francisco, New York City, Austin, Houston, Arlington. The deal will add seven new locations to the Industrious portfolio.
“Acquiring TechSpace was a strategic move for Industrious,” said Jamie Hodari, CEO and cofounder of Industrious. “It’s a high-performing flexible workspace provider that allows us to quickly and strategically expand our portfolio in key markets. Consolidation is going to accelerate as our industry matures, and Industrious will continue to evaluate additional opportunities as they arise.”
This is Industrious’ second coworking acquisition after the firm bought out Chicago-based coworking company Assemble which doubled its footprint in the city.
