New York-based coworking operator Knotel has signed a lease for 14,160 square feet on the fourth and fifth floors of the Eretz Group’s Fifth Avenue building in the Flatiron District, bringing its footprint to well over 580,000 square feet in the area.
“The addition of 101 Fifth Avenue contributes another prime site to our market-leading portfolio in Manhattan,” said Eugene Lee, Knotel’s chief investment officer. “As companies continue to flock to the Flatiron, Union Square and Chelsea areas, we are here to support them.”
In the first quarter of this year, Knotel has already lease 1 million square feet worldwide, with 540,000 square feet being in New York City.
