Coworking operator the Yard has reportedly been in talks with competitors about selling the company or a stake in it.
Sources say that the New York-based company has discussed with Blackstone Group’s the Office Group and WeWork’s biggest New York competitor, Knotel.
CEO Morris Levy confirmed that the company has been approached by multiple firms, but that they are working with investment firm Houlihan Lokey to raise funds for “massive growth.”
Other firms similar to the Yard’s size have been acquired lately, such as TechSpace which was recently bought out by Industrious just last week.
