Real estate broker Savills has launched its own flexible office brand called Pivot.
The new service, currently available to UK landlords, will provide fully fitted, turnkey office space for midsize tenants looking for 40 workstations or more. Savills is citing a turnaround time of six to eight weeks to incorporate design, company branding, fit-out, IT and facilities management services.
“Pivot affords landlords an alternative way to cater to those customers who don’t want conventional space and/or prefer not to be a customer of a serviced office operator,” said Charlie Wardroper, who is leading the Pivot division, in a statement.
The new service is seen as a challenge to other real estate brokers such as CBRE, who launched its own flexible workspace division called Hana in 2018, and workspace operators such as WeWork and Knotel.
