WeWork signed a deal for 89,300 square feet in Miami’s Southeast Financial Center, the tallest office tower in Florida. The coworking giant will take up four full floors of the building, growing it’s Miami footprint to 750,000 square feet.
Jeffrey Gordon and JLL Managing Director Matthew Goodman represented WeWork in the transaction. In a statement, Jeffrey Gordon, vice president with JLL said that Miami has been ranked first in the country for coworking and that JLL expects more deals like the one from WeWork to be more prevalent in the future.
WeWork has recently inked several leases across US metro markets. It signed four agreements that amount to 110,000+ square feet in Manhattan and two in San Antonio that total 75,000 square feet.
