WeWork is reportedly eyeing three floors of space of the 64-floor U.S. Steel Tower. The coworking giant has narrowed down its search to this iconic building after discarding other downtown buildings: Pittsburgh Athletic Association in Oakland, the Allegheny Building, the Federal Home Loan Bank Building, and the Bank Tower. 

WeWork issued a request last year for up to 20 building proposals; it was looking for as much a s 30,000 to 50,000 square feet of available space. However, recent reports estimate that the company could add as much as 120,000 square feet of coworking space in Pittsburgh.

WeWork has not confirmed the new location or its potential open date, however it does list a Steel City location in its website as coming soon.
