Gravitate Coworking, which launched in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2014, has recently more than tripled its space from 4,000 sq ft to 13,500 sq ft.
“We’ve consistently had a waitlist of people to get in,” said founder Geoff Wood.
The new space is already three-quarters full, with members ranging from startups and nationwide brands to the local Chamber of Commerce.
Des Moines is currently home to five coworking spaces in the city limits and a number of others across the suburbs, which have launched over the past five years.
Wood believes more shared office spaces like Gravitate will open as the metro continues to grow.
