[bctt tweet=”Despite flexible workspaces having a massive footprint worldwide, less than 20 are dedicated to music and the arts. ” username=”allwork_space”]In order to fill this gap, Amin Hamzianpour and Nicholas Sonuga have started The Qube to cater to this creative community.
Currently, the London-based coworking space has raised €2.1 million led by the Angel CoFund as well as AEI Group. The money will go towards building their 16,000 square foot flagship site.
The Qube will consist of 30 soundproof studios, as well as music, podcast, photography and video editing facilities.
“We have seen a massive expansion in the coworking market over the past few years, with a wide range of operators bringing much needed choice to serve all types of office workers, but Qube has identified that there is a lack of similar options available for the UK’s flourishing arts and creative industry,” said Tim Mills, founder partner at the Angel CoFund.
