A recent report by Instant Offices found that demand for flexible workspace in Paris is almost double than the global average. Paris is one of the largest flexible workspace markets in Europe; it is also one of the most expensive places to rent a desk.
Flexible workspaces in Europe are expected to reach 225 million square feet this year, as more landlords launch their own flexible workspace concept or partner with existing coworking operators to deliver flexible space in their buildings. This has led to increased competition in some markets, causing rates to contract.
Increased demand for flexible workspaces across Europe has also been driven by Brexit. An Instant survey found that 15% of UK business owners are looking for new opportunities in EU countries, including France.
