Amazon is reportedly in talks to sign a deal at the WeWork-owned Lord & Taylor building on Fifth Avenue.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon could either lease out the entire building, or just a portion of it.
Rumors of where Amazon would take up space in New York City have been swirling for months now, including the Farley Post office and Brookfield’s Two Manhattan West project.
The Lord & Taylor building was intended to eventually serve as WeWork’s global headquarters, so it is unclear where the coworking giant would move if Amazon takes over the building.
