The company’s new Cape Town coworking space will be located across 4 floors of 80 Strand, in the city’s central business district. The building has recently undergone an upgrade as part of a joint investment between Emira and Swish.
Patrick Nelson, Head of WeWork EMEA, Real Estate says, “As WeWork prepares to launch its first location in South Africa, we’re pleased to announce our expansion to Cape Town.
“Not only is it a flourishing city in terms of culture and opportunity, but for business, it’s a central point for entrepreneurs and large companies to be based.”
WeWork’s new space is set to open in the fourth quarter this year.
