A New York-based company focused on providing phonebooths for open plan offices has launched its services in the UK.
Room provides soundproof phonebooths that create a private work space within open offices and has experienced great growth due to the flexible office boom.
Room also revealed it will expand across six other European countries. Currently, the firm is used by 2,000 companies across the U.S. and is expected to reach $40 million in revenue by the end of 2019.
“Room is at the forefront of a wider movement focused on solving the persistent issue of noise and distraction in the open plan office,” said Morten Meisner-Jensen, Co-founder of Room. “The challenges faced by open office workers is global, not local, and we look forward to introducing our proven privacy solution to Europe.”
