Marcelo Claure, former CEO of Sprint, has been assigned to help restore order at the fumbling WeWork.
Masayoshi Son, CEO of SoftBank, enlisted the help of Claure, who was brought in as CEO of Sprint by Son in 2014 and helped lead a strategy of cutting costs according to Bloomberg.
Currently, WeWork is overseeing renovations to Sprint’s office space at its Overland Park headquarters in Kansas.
WeWork’s planned IPO this year was postponed after the firm’s S-1 filing raised questions about its losses and former CEO Adam Neumann’s business practices.
