IWG is launching its franchise business model in Thailand, where franchisees will open new workspaces using one of the flexible office company’s brands.
The company’s brands include Regus, Spaces and HQ. Franchisees will be able to develop spaces that are up to 800 square meters, with an estimated capital for one location being 20 million baht. Currently, IWG has 26 locations across four cities in Thailand.
“The coworking and leasable office space scene is expanding at a very fast pace,” said Matthew James Kenley, head of partnership growth at IWG. “Thus, this franchise business model offers a slice of the pie for franchisees to join us at this key moment, to capitalise on the explosive growth of the sector.”
